Services Sourcing
There is no faster way to do services sourcing.
Buying goods means repeating a known spec. Buying services rarely does. Every consulting project, audit or implementation is different, and the requirements are often unclear at the start and keep changing along the way.
Because demand is fluid, it gets defined in meetings, calls and email threads between the business and procurement. Turning that into a solid specification takes days of drafting, reviewing and rewriting.
Once the tender is out, the loop widens. Vendors ask questions, procurement forwards them to the demand owner, answers come back, and clarifications follow. Every round trip costs days and adds nothing to the result.
The biggest time drain isn't the decision. It's the alignment between demand owners, procurement and vendors. That's where 50–60 hours per event disappear.
